Call me a skeptic, but I’ve lived in london and I’ll be surprised and impressed if they build this from scratch in 4 years.

My name is United State of America guardian of DEMOCRACY at Guantanamo bay. I own a small dog called UK. I love UK very much because UK barks every time I gave an order. UK is a lovely little dog. I understand MEGA GENOCIDE is committed in IRAQ by the ugly terrorists disguised as children and women. I sent UK to Iraq. UK is doing its best to save people’s life in IRAQ but the task is not easy. UK has to hide everyday because of the terrible obscure terrorists. I make an appeal to boycott the London 2012 Olympic Games because money will be wasted just for some medals. The money can be more judiciously used by UK for its glorious mission to save more life in IRAQ. In the name of DEMOCRACY, BOYCOTT LONDON 2012 to prevent MEGA GENOCIDE in Iraq. Thank you for your co-operation. God Bless Prince Charles the next Queen of UK.

The best part of the upcoming Olympics is that you can buy the buildings after the games have finished.

So if you happened to be a rich oil king, you could have your own Olympic stadium.

I am a Londoner and I dont see why I should have to, alone with millions of other Londoners foot the bill for this crap, there was no referendum we have no choice, and now they are going to put up our already high taxes just to pay for it. Fail to pay and you go to jail. Dont you just love democracy?

Completely SUCKS! Only four years ahead, and all they’ve got are these shitty blueprints. Really no surprise, whit this retarded mayor they have.

The design looks a lot like my wifes’ monthly pantiliner pad before the wings are unfolded.

Watching the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics, my Wife and I couldn’t believe the amazing spectacle and we both agreed there and then to leave the UK in August 2012 to avoid the embarrassing hash we will make of it. Having lived through the millennium dome, we just want to avoid the whole event.
I also agree with Lestat in that we Londoners are going to have to pay for these over budget white elephants (just like we did with the dome) and they will probably be sold off for a song in the following years because they can’t make them pay for themselves under public management.
The bid was a mistake and you could see the realisation of what they had done all over the faces of the 2012 team in the audience of the Opening Ceremony in Beijing, the were thinking “oh crap, how do we follow this”.
